I'm Anna, an artist and a writer based out of Orlando, Florida. I am currently a student at the University of Central Florida, working towards my Digital Media-Game Design Track degree.

I've been an artist and a writer since a young age, and have created, critiqued, consulted, and reimagined what it means to be a media curator.

ANNA GRANT

Artist, Writer, & Game Designer

About Me:

I am currently in the process of writing my own philosophical novel and hope to have it done by the time I graduate college. My biggest inspiration in writing is a Vietnamese philosopher named Thich Nat Hanh. The novel that I am constructing reflects his style of writing, keeping each point that I intend to make in a concise paragraph. I have written many argumentative essays, and hope I get the chance to write more, but given that I am a Digital Media Video Game Track student, I don’t know if I’ll have many opportunities to write for my academic classes.

The Arts Reimagined

Selected Works: Charcoal Works

I chose these works because they showcase my ability to utilize charcoal on a multi-media sketch pad.

Selected Works: Procreate

These two images show the creative process that I go through when I create a full image render using Procreate. I am naturally a traditional artist, so my process typically begins with a sketch pad.

Selected Works: Adobe Illustrator

These three pieces that I made using Adobe Illustrator are some of my best works to date. I used vectorized lines and gradients to achieve the style of these works, and believe they showcase my strength and dedication in the arts.

Selected Works: Unity Game Design

The button below showcases a playthrough of the carting game that I created for one of my classes at UCF.

Selected Works: Writing

The first button provided is linked to my first major assessment in my ENC3314 class at UCF. This project broke the barrier for me as a writer, and I allowed myself to be vulnerable with my personal experiences that have shaped me as a person and as a writer. The second button provided is linked to the final assignment that I did for an art history class that I took at UCF. I delved into the repeated themes that we see throughout history, focusing on the hyper sexualization of women in society. The third button provided is linked to an article summary that I did for a psychology class that I took at UCF. I analyzed the violent and sexual portrayal of women in modern media, and the harmful nature that this portrayal has on recent generations.
